Barong Tagalog style shirts come from the Philippines, where they are often worn for weddings and other formal events. They are typically quite sheer and feature panels of embroidery and netting - sort of like a Filipino Guayabera. This example is a somewhat sheer cream color with panels of beige embroidery. It has two pockets at the hip (mostly decorative - the shirt would bulge weirdly if you put stuff in them) and two back vents. Short sleeves. The label reads Caravelle Perfect Wear Wash and Wear; it also has a Made in Philippines label.

Measurements: tagged size large. Chest 44" and shoulders 18.5". The shirt is 28" long from shoulder to hem.

Material: no tag; feels like a crisp cotton/poly blend.

Condition: freshly laundered and in very good vintage condition. There's a small stain on the right shoulder and a few loose stitches in the left armpit.
