Here is a book with some beautiful and collectible graphed Victorian needlepoint designs, along with a great historical narrative to go with each design. Included are Eastlake designs, William Morris, and a few Art Nouveau.

This was published in 1978 by Holt, Rinehart and Winston, New York. Written and drawn by Phyllis Kluger. It is hardbound with detailed and charted needlepoint designs, also includes a stitch dictionary with applique, cross-stitch and adding beads to designs. All or most from the Victorian age - very flowery, butterflies, seahorses, swirls, gingerbread and more! Has a color photo section of finished pieces. A great book to have as reference.

Measures 11 inches by 9 inches by 1/2 inch.

Condition is very good. It is missing the dust jacket, and the off-white hardbound cover has some wear, with a few marks. No damage, repairs, the spine is very good, the pages are intentionally ecru, with sepia printing, giving it a Victorian look. No stains or odors.

USA shipping only.
