Printable PDF pattern designed to fit 18 inch and 16 inch dolls such as American Girl and A Girl for All Time.

The “Molly Sleeve Variations” pattern will help you create brand-new 1830s gowns with two new sleeve designs. “Sleeve #1” has three rows of ruching near the shoulders, representing the styles of the later 1830s when the upper sleeve began to collapse from the big, ballooned shapes from the beginning of the decade. Sleeve #2 is from the early 1830s, with one row of ruching at the shoulder and a dainty ruffle at the elbow, while still maintaining the large gigot sleeve shape.
These sleeve pattern pieces will fit with not only the “Molly” 1830s Gown pattern but also the “Victoria” 1830s Evening Gown pattern.
This is for the sleeve pieces only, it does not include the dress patterns. Dress patterns are available for purchase in my Etsy shop:

I’m in love with these sleeve variations for the “Molly” pattern. The instructions, as always, are thorough, clear and well illustrated. It’s so nice to be able to offer my Etsy customers more variety in this classic and lovely 1830s pattern by Pemberley Threads.

Love the variations for this Dress... just awesome. I watched "The Young Victoria" film recently and noticed many of your patterns resemble dresses she wore. Some with various sleeve changes. I love period clothing and pleased your offer wonderful patterns like this.

Easy to follow instructions. Turned out well on my first try. The cuff was too small for my doll. The pattern says it should overlap by 1/4”, and it did not for me. I would add 1/4” next time.
