This is an incredible hand crafted ceremonial piece created in sterling silver and carved bone. Ted stamped the leather back of the medallion with his initials. A rabbit stick or (TW) has been his hallmark since 1954.
Ted Wadsworth was one of the early Hopi guild members. His sons are Donald, Charles and Edison, taught by their father whom are also magnificent silversmiths.
I have worn this piece many times and received so many compliments. Although a heavy piece, it is very comfortable to wear. It can be worn by either a man or woman. Much more beautiful and impressive than I could depict in the photos.
You will love it and it is time for me to let it go. I am listing it much lower than the appraisal of $1600. This is a true Museum Quality Collector artifact. Thank you for taking the time.
