This is an unusual little cigarette presentation box. It's two pieces. You load it up with filterless cigarettes (or left handed cigarettes?) and move the mechanism and the cigarette is supposed to pop out on top. Has inlaid ivory, celluloid, and some lighter wood into rosewood. Features a pair of nuzzling elephants and a turbaned man who smokes a hookah. Probably made in British Raj period, India, ca 1940's.
