Purchased from wardrobe of t.v. show ONE TREE HILL; see info at end of listing
Fabulous 1950's style black and white satiny party / formal dress circa 1980s J.C. Penney. SO much 50's infuence ! Bodice begins with a V neckline; tops of sleeves have elastic so that you can wear it off shoulder or at end of shoulders and it will stay in place ! These fab "sleeves" are so incredible ! Left one is black all over with black rosette at end; right one is black at top , then white with a white rosette at end - both sleeves are heavily ruched where they connect to shoulders - great structure! bodice has white ruched / pintucking from entire left side of bodice ending several inches above waist at front; huge white bow attached to left side of waist. Slimming V waistline finishes with a pleated, black 360 degree circle skirt ... add a CRINOLINE if you want more 50s flair ! Dress is in excellent condition, clean and ready to wear.
NOTE: model is very petite, probably not much over 5' tall; to see where dress will end on YOU, hold a tape measure at your shoulder and see were the number which is length of dress below in measurements ends on your leg.

MEASUREMENTS lying flat, seam to seam
Bodice is 17" across (best fits avg 34" cup or smaller bust)
Waist is 13" across (fits 26" or smaller waist )
Hip area is free due to full 1950s style skirt.
Length of dress from top of sleeve to hem is 43" long - to see where the hem will be on YOU, simply hold a measuring tape at your shoulder and see where the 43" mark is on your legs.

ONE TREE HILL INFO: As most of you know, I own a large wardrobe studio, mostly vintage, in Wilmington, NC. I sell and rent many items to t.v. shows and movies which film in the area. ONE TREE HILL has been filming here since 2003 and I have been working with them since 2007; since the show has ended, I got to buy back alot of vintage from them and am now listing it for sale on Etsy and maybe some on Ebay - this stuff will make great gifts for fans of the show. There won't be anymore One Tree Hill stuff after next weekend - if you google, you can see that the wardrobe sale ends Sunday; the furniture and home decor auction is next weekend. This is a piece from the One Tree Hill wardrobe sale. I cannot tell you what character wore it or if an extra wore it; I cannot tell you what episode it was on ... it is against Warner Brothers rules. HOWEVER, if you are a fan, perhaps you have seen it on the show ... vintage is mostly one of a kind (especially in one town the odds of finding 2 exact same pieces are like one in a milllion) so if you saw the same item on the show, then this is 99.9% most likely it !
