This listing is for a lovely small "Gao" bowl or ashtray originally designed by René Lalique in 1934. Gorgeous, serpentine shape that represents Lalique at its best.

More information regarding this shape can be found in Marcilhac's guide on page 282 as number 10-726. Judging by the signature, this particular example was produced in the 1950s-1960s.

The bowl comes to us in great, vintage condition with no major defects. A few small scratches on the bottom commensurate with age. 4 inches in diameter and 2 inches tall. Etched with "Lalique France" on the bottom.
