Don't just say "I do", display personalized vows that are unique to you. Whether he is promising to share his french fries, or you are swearing to get your shoe-buying habit under control, guests will love to see exactly how much you mean to each other. And, after the wedding is over, display your vows at home as a constant reminder of your new and fun journey!

My husband and I were too nervous to say personalized vows- so instead we set these up by our guest book for our guests to read. It was definitely the best of both worlds!

This listing is for 2 8.5 X 11 digital files only, no printing, (additional sizes available on request).

If your vows are longer than 250 words each, an additional charge of $5 per 50 words over 250 will apply to cover the additional set up time for your file.

How it all works:

Step 1: You place your order. Because all of our work is so custom, we generally prefer to have an order in place before we start creating your product.

Step 2: You send! Send your vows via Etsy message or via email (shopbisforbrown@gmail.com). We will confirm receipt within 2 business days, so if you don’t hear from us assume that something went haywire and shoot us a second message. For vows, we require a word document, so we can copy text directly from your file and decrease the likelihood of mistakes.

Step 3: We create! We will start creating your custom piece right away, and should have your first proofs available for you to within 3-5 business days. Order time varies based on demand, so if you are concerned about turn around time, message us before you order so we can discuss a schedule that works for you!

Step 4: You proof! After we send you your files- you are responsible for checking them for mistakes. That includes names/dates/spelling/grammar, etc. We suggest checking over ALL of the text carefully, and maybe having a second or third pair of eyes do the same. We also recommend that you do a test print with your proofs- color is a fickle friend, and it varies from screen to screen, screen to print, and printer to printer.

Step 5: We send! Upon completing all of the updates and changes, we send your final files over in .jpg or .pdf form. Depending on where you are planning to print, you may need a specific file type, or may need files that include crop marks and/or bleed (bleed is an extra area around the edges that allow printers to cut without cutting off important things). Since there are so many printing options out there, we can’t know for sure what sort of files you need unless you tell us, so definitely check. Otherwise, we will provide standard files, with no bleed and no crop marks, since those are the files that function best for clients printing at home.

Do you handle printing?
At this time, we are not handling print orders. There are so many great local and online options that print higher quality and for cheaper than we can, that we want to encourage clients to utilize the options we think will work best for them. We know printing can be daunting, so we will absolutely answer questions, but to get an overview check out our printing FAQ page here.

Can you match colors?
Coloring is tricky, because color can vary so much from screen to screen, and screen to ink (and even printer to printer and paper to paper). If you have a particular color that you love and must have, we will do what we can to match it, but odds are you are going to need to do multiple test proofs, or provide us with a Pantone or CMYK number. After you approve your file, we can’t be held responsible if the coloring doesn’t print as planned, which is why test prints are so very important.

Frequently asked questions about BisforBrown

Please reference the size listed on each individual listing. If you want to update or change the sizing, we need to discuss this prior to your order, as a fee may incurred.
I do accept custom orders. If you are interested in utilizing pieces from multiple designs, please send me a message indicating which design you would like to use as a base, the size you are envisioning, if you plan to do a single sided or double sided design, and which pieces from which programs you intend to incorporate. That will all me to get a feel for what you have in mind and give you a custom quote.
I provide full resolution (300dpi) individual .jpg files and when applicable a 2 per page .pdf file. I do not provide editable or vector files, including but not limited to: .ai, .psd, .eps, .id, .doc or .ppt.
Color matching is hard. The best way to go about it is to provide specific Hex or PMS codes. I can certainly operate off of 'blush' or 'navy' also, but recommend that you always, always ALWAYS do a test print on the printer and paper you plan to use, if you want to know for sure how colors will look when printed. Screen coloring is a lot different than print coloring, so a test print is the only way to know how things will look.
