Well, here is an old one for you. If you are of Scottish descent and would like to delve into the traditional cuisine of that country, here is the book for you. First printed in 1929, this reprint is from 1932. An interesting line in the introduction says that in Scotland today, as perhaps the world over, there is of good home cooking less and less. That line folks was printed in 1929! Included are many soup recipes, dishes of fish such as potted Salmon Roe and Partan Pie. Dishes of Game and Poultry such as Deer Haggis and Roast Grouse. Under meat we have Highland Beef Balls, Glasgow Tripe and Potted Hough. How about some Clap Scones? Many things in here I have never heard of. The book is in good condition with normal browning for a book of this age, no missing or torn pages. Almost no shelf wear and lightly bumped corners. This one is truly a vintage cook book.
