This unusual vintage silk scarf illustrates the saying, "A cat has nine lives." The scarf is green with a border and central square of cat silhouettes and the numeral 9 printed all over in red and blue. The edge is hand-rolled.

The scarf measures about 22.5" square and is in good vintage condition with some light yellowing in the center and some light discoloration in some areas, visible in the pictures (the slightly darker spots which look a little like speckly shadows). I did not try to launder or otherwise clean this scarf, but have priced it with the condition in mind.

I have another proverb scarf for sale separately - "Lightning Never Strikes Twice" - which appears to be from the same maker and series. You can see it here:

I'm offering free US shipping on both of these scarves. If you purchase both, I'll also discount your order by 10%.

You can see all of my hankies and scarves here:
I’ll ship any additional scarves or hankies for free.

Combined Shipping: I’m happy to ship multiple purchases together to lower shipping costs, but I don’t pre-enter a combined amount as I prefer to figure it based on packed weight (it’s usually cheaper that way). If you’d like to know the cost to ship specific items together, just convo me. Combined shipping will always be less than shipping items separately.

International Shipping: Costs may be lower to your country. Feel free to convo me for exact rates.
