I've titled this sculpture "Life's Triad" and it features the three phases of a woman's life - the maiden, the mother, and the crone. The maiden represents the earliest stage of life and she holds within her inception, expansion, the promise of new beginnings, youth, and excitement. The mother represents fertility, fecundity, abundance, and growth. The crone represents wisdom, repose, and compassion. Combined together all three create the goddess that is woman.

This sculpture was created from unspun wool and I used a felting needle to carefully sculpt the fibers into the figures' bodies, hair, clothing, and features. The base of the sculpture was also created by needle felting the wool. All of the wool used in this sculpture was either natural (as it occurred on the sheep) or hand dyed myself.

The base of the sculpture is about 8.5" (21.59 cm) across and the tallest figure stands just above 8.5" (21.59 cm) tall.

This sculpture is signed and dated on the underside of the base. It's a one of a kind sculpture that will not be recreated.

It ships via USPS Priority Mail within 2 business days of purchase.
