This serene visage of polychromed wood looks down on us with complete peace; the original sculpture is huge. It's from the Liao Dynasty, 907-1125. I sat on the floor, oblivious to everything around me, and sketched it; I've been visiting it for nearly 40 years.

I have recently rescanned it with my newer scanner so the print is closer in color to the original.

The original is a watercolor, 9" x 12"--this print is 8" by 10". It will come to you backed, covered with a protective plastic or acetate covering, and well packed.

I make every effort to match the colors of the print as closely as possible to the original...I hope you enjoy it!
