Stunning, lush late 1920s silk velvet black dress. The velvet is so soft and smooth and lovely; it's like LIQUID. It is a deep, jet black, but I have lightened the photos a bit to show all of the great, classic 20s details. Gorgeous deco zig zag stitching across hips, self fabric bows at outer wrists and snaps at inner wrists, side snap closure, vertical shaping darts at either side of neck, gathered panels at sides at natural waist, gored, flowing skirt, v neck. JUST BEAUTIFUL.

Best fits a size s.
-Bust: 36"
-Waist: 30.5 (natural waist - should fit loose)
-Hip: 36.5"
-Length: ~50"
-Sleeve length: 23" from shoulder, 6.5" from underarm

Condition: Great condition. The velvet is in amazing condition. SO LUSH. There is small line on the front bodice between 1/8" and 1/4" long where the velvet is missing, but this is not noticeable unless under close inspection, small hole (same size) at bottom of skirt in front, which is usually obscured due to the way the skirt hangs /drapes. The bottom edge of skirt is not hemmed, but not raw - it is stitched to prevent fraying. Looks fine and is wearable as is, or you could turn up 5/8" or as desired for a regular hem.
