"Hot Copper" is a collection of ultrafine polyester glitters from EJR Beads, carefully selected to mimic the look of heat treated metal using polymer clay. Not only do you get the glitter kit, but also full written instructions for my "Hot Copper" technique of creating this distinctive look on polymer clay sheets.
You can then use the sheets in your projects to create your own polymer clay pendants, earrings, card toppers etc. Or why not modify the technique to use in papercraft projects or with resins etc? The glitters are top grade and suitable for resin work, craft projects etc.
The collection contains 6 separate glitter colours (a generous 9 grams of each metal colour and 5 grams of each accent colour) along with full written instructions for creating the heated metal look. The kit is packaged together in an attractive organza bag - so these kits also make great gifts for the crafter in your life!
The high grade glitters in my kits have a very fine particle size. They can be used over un-baked polymer clay, or mixed with waterbased varnish to use over baked clay. They are also suitable for paper crafts, resin crafts and anywhere else you would use glitters really.
The photos show examples of polymer clay jewellery made with my "Hot Copper" technique - obviously the jewellery is not included, this is for illustration purposes only!
Please note these glitters should not be heated above 130 degrees celcius and are not suitable for fusing, hot enamelling or other hot glass work.
Price is for one glitter kit, containing 6 sachets of glitter and full instructions on how to create the faux heated metal effect on polymer clay. You also, of course, can contact me for any technical help or advice you might have on using the glitters or the "Hot Copper" technique.
