VIrginia Carolina Chemical Corp. advertising sign. Space for a calendar which was "furnished upon request to Virginia-Carolina Chemical Corporation 120 Broadway, New York City".

Lists recommended grades of fertilizer "for different crops under various soil and crop conditions."

Cool old piece of American industrial history!

Label on back states it is an "enameloid calendar". It feels like light metal. There is crackling, blistering, staining and tearing (see pictures). The torn part has a cardboard-like feel to it. I took the pictures under different lighting conditions and I would say the base color is off-white--less yellow than the first picture, less white than the others.

Not dated, but I have seen similar with 1930's calendars on them. Measures approximately 10-1/2" x 19-1/2".
