Here's a terrific scarce find ~ an antique circa 1890's to 1930's Oregon pioneer one room school house children's bench pew.

Single plank seat, sides and back. Early notch mortised craftsman joinery construction with nails. It has old paint with an early white paint showing underneath and an old bittersweet red paint on surface. Boot jack legs with scalloped sides.

Appropriate expected wear to paint and wood from age and use with worn old paint and age splits from years. Tight and rock solid with no movement.

55 1/2 " long x 28 " tall x 12 " deep with 14 " tall seat. appx 40 pounds.

A nice early piece, a rare find and with so many uses~!

If you want to use it as a bucket bench to hold pottery ~ great idea ~ but know that the seat has a tiny slope to it....only about 3/8 inch from front to back. It would be a terrific porch bench full of metal buckets of flowers or terracotta pots on a cottage or farmhouse porch~! It has so many possibilities to add that cottage romance to any home~!

Shipping is an estimate and will be adjusted up or down to your location.
