Please note that all returns and exchanges must be mailed to Europe where our atelier and warehouse are located.

- EXCHANGES: If you're unhappy with the fit, don't fret—we offer one size exchange per garment at a flat processing fee of $9. Kindly note that we're unable to assist with the cost incurred to mail back the garment, but we'd be happy to send your replacement item upon receiving your item for exchange for no additional shipping charge.

- RETURNS: Upon receiving any garment(s) from you for return, we will reimburse you within 5 business days. Please be mindful that we wouldn’t be able to assist with the mailing expense you incur to mail the garment(s) back to us.

We are happy to offer a discounted shipping option for customers in the US and Canada, which is usually less expensive and faster than your governmental post shipping options with a tracking number. We can schedule a DHL pickup at a discounted rate of $30 USD (for heavier shipments, the rate would be $45).

Please contact us with the specific pieces you’d like to return/exchange, and we’ll send you a link to purchase the DHL shipping option. If you do not wish to take advantage of our DHL pickup option, we recommend using a governmental postal service first class or priority mail option with a tracking number to ensure the package’s safe arrival.

2. CUSTOMERS IN THE US & CANADA: We will respond to your message with a link to purchase if you would like to take advantage of our arranged DHL pickup option for your return. Once we receive your payment, we will supply you with the necessary documents within the following business day, and you will be contacted by DHL to schedule your pick-up. If you’d prefer to arrange for your own return shipping, you may use the address below to mail your return/exchange.

3. CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE US & CANADA: Use the following address to mail your return/exchange:

Additional Guidelines for Hassle-Free Returns and Exchanges

• Any desired exchange or return to Marcellamoda must be postmarked within 30 days of receipt.

• If you are a customer outside of the US/Canada, or you decide not to take advantage of our DHL return option, we suggest that you send your return with your country's governmental postal service (such as USPS in the U.S.A.) with a tracking number to ensure your package's safe arrival. We ask that you kindly refrain from using an international courier such as DHL, FedEx, UPS, TNT, etc. as intl' couriers charge a customs processing fee of about $50 USD with such global shipments. Please note that in this event, we would need to pass along any such fee to you in order to process your exchange/return.

• Additionally, if you’re arranging your own exchange/return, in the process of filling out the customs declaration at your local governmental postal service, please be sure to reference the order number of your invoice and the exact amount paid (net of shipping) for the specific item(s) you plan to return or exchange. Unfortunately, failure to do so may result in significant penalties associated with your return or exchange on the part of the U.S. and/or E.U. customs authorities.

• Merchandise must have all tags attached and must be in its original and unworn condition. A $10 charge applies to all products requiring special handling.

• Regular sale items may be returned or exchanged. "Clearance" items, however, may not be exchanged and can only be returned for store credit.

• Custom garments are not eligible for return or exchange.

• We will reimburse you within five business days of receiving your return. For exchanges, we will mail the replacement as quickly as possible, and will send you a follow-up note with a tracking number.

• Original shipping charges as well as the shipping charges incurred by you to mail the garments back to us, are non-refundable.

• Kindly note that depending on the shipping method and country of origin, return packages could take 1-4 weeks to reach Bulgaria, and might require additional processing time at customs before received by us.

• Please understand that we cannot be responsible for any postal or courier service losing any return or exchange on its way back to us and, unfortunately, would not be able to reimburse you in that case.

• If you receive an exchange and then decide to send it back to us, kindly note that your refund for the returned item will be issued in the form of store credit.

• We’re only able to process exchanges for the same item in a new size or color (depending on availability), and cannot process exchanges for two different garments. Any such requests would instead be processed as a return.

• Viewing itself as part of a global community, Marcellamoda complies with all laws and regulations in the countries in which we sell. This commitment includes sending all garments with proper customs documentation, a responsibility we undertake not only to be ethical but also to protect our customers from possibly facing steep fines in their home countries.

• Please note that, in most countries in which we sell, there are no customs duties/fees associated with any purchase from MM. We do provide a list of countries in which a customer may need to pay customs duties/fees on our shop page, and in our order confirmation emails. If a customer is okay with the order pursuant to our note but later declines taking delivery of the package from the delivery courier, regrettably, we'll need to charge a $20 restocking fee for the package to compensate for the time and expense to us of processing the package's return to our company.

• Similarly, on occasion, when the courier is unable to successfully deliver a package to a customer at the address provided and instead returns the package to Marcellamoda, regrettably, we'll need to charge a $20 restocking fee to compensate for the time and expense to us of processing the package's return.

STANDARD SHIPPING—ALL LOCATIONS OUTSIDE US & CANADA

All orders will be shipped via the German Postal Service and will automatically include a signature requirement. In case you'd like us to waive the signature requirement, please add a note to seller at checkout along with your phone number. We offer this service at no additional cost to you. We want to ensure that we provide you with the best customer service possible, so whichever option works for you best, works for us as well. (Given the possibility of mail theft around the world, we strongly encourage our customers to consider the signature requirement if they believe there is any chance of their package being stolen from their front door step, etc.). Kindly note that if the German Postal Service tracking number confirms delivery, we consider the package delivered and respectfully won't be able to offer any resolution.

Some countries charge additional customs and duties and customers are responsible for any such charges. • Which address will my order be sent to?

All orders will be shipped via the German Postal Service and will automatically include a signature requirement. In case you'd like us to waive the signature requirement, please add a note to seller at checkout along with your phone number. We offer this service at no additional cost to you. We want to ensure that we provide you with the best customer service possible, so whichever option works for you best, works for us as well. (Given the possibility of mail theft around the world, we strongly encourage our customers to consider the signature requirement if they believe there is any chance of their package being stolen from their front door step, etc.). Kindly note that if the German Postal Service tracking number confirms delivery, we consider the package delivered and respectfully won't be able to offer any resolution.

• Will I have to pay customs and duties?

Some countries charge additional customs and duties and customers are responsible for any such charges. • Which address will my order be sent to?

All items will be shipped to the address on your Etsy account. If you wish for your item to be shipped to a different address, please send us a note immediately once you place your order so that we can change it. • My package got lost or damaged? Will you offer a resolution?

Though we always strive to provide a superior customer experience, mail couriers on occasion experience lost/stolen/damaged packages. Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for the couriers, and would not be able to reimburse you in the event that your package gets lost, stolen or damaged. We’d recommend that you contact the courier directly as they are best positioned to remediate the issue.

Yes, buying online can be tricky and sometimes frustrating in terms of choosing the right size. We're here to help.

Even though we don't accept orders for garments with custom sizing, we can help you with some general advice. For example, our jersey and ponte garments are quite stretchy, so we usually recommend sizing down when in doubt.

We wish we could have you try our garments in person, but since this is not an option as of now, just drop us a note and we'll do our best to guide you in the right direction.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we are not able to accept fully customized orders at this time.

We can occasionally accommodate requests for the shortening or lengthening of some of our non-asymmetric designs, so please reach out with an inquiry. We are also able to offer some garments in additional colors to those offered in the listing.

If we’re able to make the custom order for you, we wouldn’t be able to accept a possible return/exchange request. Some customizations also require an additional fee, so please be sure to reach out with any questions prior to placing your order.

Many of our garments are made of high-stretch fabric, which allows for flexible sizing, but still, drop us a note so we can help you with your choice.
