When the Sistine chapel was restored in the late 20th century, this startling unfinished underpainting was discovered and quickly hushed up. The work was obviously abandoned by Michelangelo before color was added and subsequently painted over entirely. Notes in some of Michelangelo's long suppressed diaries reveal the fresco to represent the Dark God Cthulhu either creating man or possibly attempting to eat him shortly after his creation by another. [*Statements may not reflect objective reality!]

The high quality print measures approximately 7.5x10" on heavy matte 8.5x11" art paper (so the easiest way to display is just to drop it in a standard 8.5x11" photo frame). Should last a generation or more if not displayed in direct bright sunlight.

Ships in a very sturdy photo mailer additionally stamped Do Not Bend.

(The Parodies Lost logo of course does not appear on your print!)

This is part of my growing Parodies Lost series combining great masterpieces with my own pop culture illustration artwork.
