La lavorazione FENICIO o STRIATO o anche PIUMATO (perché può ricordare un piumaggio) è una delle più antiche tecniche di lavorazione del vetro di Murano si possono ammirare antichi manufatti con tale lavorazione al Museo del Vetro , io la eseguo dall’inizio della mia carriera.
La tecnica di lavorazione è lunga e laboriosa e necessita di una particolare conoscenza del vetro e di una non indifferente rapidità di esecuzione del pezzo.
Attualmente sono l’unico lumista che usa questa tecnica di lavorazione.
Altezza cm 20 circa.

Perfect Christmas ornament! Beautifully crafted and the colors are gorgeous! (I purchased 4 in total) I love how you can see little "imperfections" in the Murano glass. It makes it so much more unique and special! Also, shipping was really fast and the ornaments were carefully wrapped and arrived safely. Thank you very much!

Shipping took a bit longer than I expected, but maybe due to the COVID 19 situation. My first impression was that these 6 bicchierini are quite expensive , 25€ each ! but if you have ever tried doing anything by hand , you will know it takes a long time to get good at your craft and hand work is very precious . So these are works of art even if it´s done in a kind of big production situation. Thank you Stefano . I just had a chupito of El Vecchio Amaro del Capo in one of your glasses and yes it´s tastes better when drinking from a beautiful glass . best regards, Carina

These liqueur glasses are of a rare beauty, in between an art object and something you know you'll be using naturally in everyday life. In addition, after my request, Stefano has been really kind in sending the parcel as rapidly as possible. I'd be very happy to have the chance to buy again in Stefano's shop. Highly recommended.
