Probably from the 1930s, this uncommon pocket lighter was precision-made in Switzerland by renowned clocked manufacturer Swiza. It is a fluid and wick pocket lighter modeled after renowned British roller pocket lighters, like the Dunhill Rollalite. To light -- lift up its lift to expose the wick and spin the elongated, side-mounted cylindrical roller clockwise with your thumb. This action turns the spark wheel against the flint, lighting its wick. Simply close the lid with your finger to extinguish the flame. As you might expect from a world-famous clock company, the intricacy of its design and construction are top notch. The flint chamber is accessed from the top by releasing the tension lever behind the wick; fuel is added from the base.

Though the original chrome plating shows a good amount of wear, it looks to have been barely used and workes exceptionally well. This lighter is ideal for daily use. It will be shipped with a flint and without fluid. (Please do not store this lighter with the flint though, as it will deteriorate and become impacted over time.) I cleaned the firing mechanism and all interior/exterior elements of the lighter body to remove any major grim from age and use. It has no major scratches or dents. There is a circular mark next to the Swiza logo (see photo #5) where I believe a Belgian tax seal was once affixed. I've provided high quality photos to offer the best preview of this lighter's condition. I think it actually looks nicer in person than my photos show. Please take a look and feel free to ask any questions.
