I love bats, for they are a creature of the night...This is a one of kind Day of the Dead mask with my classic Bat motif with a traditional spider web background. The sugar skull eyes in a flower petal shape that compliments the shape of the bat, painted in complimentary colors, of orange shades and blue. The Headdress of this mask is so gorgeous! Perfect for Halloween, this piece features orange color roses with black roses and foliage.
This beauty is a little different from my last years version, adorned with an elegant festive patterned tulle veil!

This is a unique piece combining my American style tattoo art with the traditional Mexican Candy skull day of the dead motif, making this perfect for your mask collection and just the one to make you stand out in the crowd!

Overall this piece fits most adults.
Secures with matching orange satin ribbon ties.

Simply hang this as your art piece, or wear it for any cos play, or both!

People have been celebrating Day of the Dead for over 500 years! Painting these skull masks has been a Mexican tradition as a way to honor the dead and celebrate the continuation of their life. These are displayed and worn to remember relatives who have passed from life (the dream world) and reawakened.
Since I was little, I used to celebrate this holiday with my Grandmother. Making sugar skulls and masks was a tradition I grew up with. Since loosing my grandmother, now 10 years ago, I still paint these masks in her memory.
