This is a rare find. A spectacular industrial style tea kettle.

Designed in the 1930s by John G. Rideout for the Wagner Manufacturing Company.

It is made of Magnalite which is a patented magnesium/aluminum alloy.

It measures 9" in diameter and 7" tall.

Designed for aesthetics more than functionality: the kettle's lid may only be removed by first detaching the handle with a screwdriver.

The inside is difficult to photograph for me. It appears to be black with the stains on the side I have pictured. It was from an estate and I was told it has been used for 10 years.

Wonderful to add to any collection.
