This fun bug is an original creation of mine that started out, of all things, as a sea biscuit from the Bahamas. My sister and brother-in-law spent some time in the islands and while there collected these sea biscuits. Well when they got home, they didn't know what to do with them all, so some were given to me. I put my mind to work and came up with the idea of turning them into cute little buggies. The last picture shows what a sea biscuit looks like in its natural form. Its similar to a sand dollar, only puffy!

I have completely covered the shell with polymer clay. All details are also polymer clay. The legs and antennae are wire. This colorful insect would look cute setting around your houseplants, or on a shelf, table, windowsill or next to your computer. Where ever you decide to put it, it is sure to brighten up your day. This one measures about 3 inches long and stands 1 1/2 inches tall.

They look even better as a group so if you would like more than one just contact me and I'll quote you a discounted price. To view all the other bugs just click here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/FlowertownOriginals?section_id=8056258
