From the wonderful series of exclusive edition plates that the Buffalo China Company made each year for the Christmas Season. I have 5 different years available. Each plate is dated with the year and has a different nostalgic Christmas scene on the front from the story of Ebenezer Scrooge.

On the back is written in cursive- a message from the Buffalo Pottery team, and an excerpt from the book. This series of plates was made from 1950 to 1962 and given to employees and customers.

This 1959 plate depicts the Cratchet family excitedly getting ready to eat Christmas dinner by setting the table amd stoking the fire.

The artist signature is on the front of the plate: Rix Jennings.

9.75" diameter. Excellent condition. No chips, cracks, nicks.or crazing. There are 3 mold marks on the back, as is usual.
