I made this happy little guy out of blended clay (porcelain and stoneware). I first threw it on the potters wheel then trimmed a rounded surface on the bottom. It wobbles back and forth but it is designed so that it won't tip over or roll away. I applied a deep blue glaze in a process of dipping, washing, and wiping to create a layered look and bring out the tiny ridges. Some drip marks and bubbles add visual interest and an unmistakeable human touch. The bottom surface is unglazed. It was fired to cone 10 in an electric kiln.

dimensions: ~2-1/2" diameter, 2-1/2" tall

It is food, dishwasher, and microwave safe.
