The Swastika is often found as part of a repeating pattern called Sayagata in Japanese. It comprises left- and right-facing Swastikas joined by lines.


The Sayagata pattern is commonly found in traditional oriental fabrics, Indian architecture, and other forms all across the globe. 

The symbol has also been found in the archeological remains of the Indus Valley Civilization and Mesopotamia, as well as in early Byzantine and Christian artwork.
