Compiled and edited by Parents' Magazine, this six volume set is called "The Mother's Encyclopedia." Chock full of advice about every imaginable parenting topic subdivided under 2,076 headings in 1,432 pages, this reference encyclopedia is both useful and entertaining.

Originally published in 1933 by the Parents' Institute of America, these books are the 1942 revised edition. Sporting royal blue cloth covers with an embossed profile of a boy on the front and attractive gilt spine lettering, there are also some wonderful black and white photographs in each book.

These books measure 5 by 7 inches each and are in excellent condition for their age with minor wear to the covers. The interior pages very clean with light yellowing and no musty smells.
