Beautiful antique toasting or bread fork in silver plate and stag horn. Stamped EPNS for Electro plated nickel silver. When Queen Victoria married prince Albert he brought with him from Germany the fashion for creating trophy items from hunting. This lovely fork dates from circa 1850 to 1900.
The quality is spectacular , the detail on the whole piece is just lovely with fine stippling on the stag horn which is perfect and pretty engraving on the silver plate . Length 7 & 1/2 inches.
