My tikis are NOT made from a mold. Each one is hand carved and hand built. I throw a b-mix clay for the body, then build with porcelain for the teeth and eyes and a granite mix for the stone-like details
what is a salt-pig, you may ask? Why, is is a place to store your salt next to the stove so it is handy for cooking.
This little guy is perfect for a pinch of salt whenever you need it. Another use would be to stash your favorite jewelry in it. Or your rings or keys or hamster (if it is titchy small!).
It measures about 3" wide by about 4" tall. Glazed in a nice blue-green flashing a pale blue where thick.
It was thrown on the wheel then cut, smoothed and had teeth added. He has his name (Innovative) and number (3846) on the bottom as well as the skeletaldropkick logo and my name and the year.
