Here's a sweet little set of flower vases. Two are made of copper, the third is brass. They're perfect for showing off the first fresh flowers of spring! They also make a nice display when empty.

As shown in the 2nd photo, the tallest one is stamped "SPAIN" on the bottom, and the shiny copper vessel says "Colonial Virginia, HAND MADE, Hampton, VA." There are no markings on the brass vase.

This listing is for all three vases.
1. The tallest is copper and measures 3 inches (7.5 cm) high and 2 1/8 in (5.5 cm) across the base. The top opening is 1 7/8 inches (about 5 cm) wide. It has a natural verdigris finish in some areas, and is nicely "worn" and appears to be hand made. The handle has been soldered into place and the copper is discolored in that area. There are oblong shapes stamped all around the "skirt" and a smaller, more detailed design around the upper section. The two sections are divided by a raised/molded ring.

2. The small, handle-less copper vessel stands 2 inches (5 cm) high. The top opening is 2.25 in (6 cm) across, as is the base. The upper and lower edges are fluted outward. The center section has a hammered texture. This one is quite a bit shinier than the other copper piece.

3. The brass vase stands 3 inches (7.5 cm) high. Its opening is 1 inch (2.5 cm) across, and its widest part near the base is 2 inches (5 cm) across. It looks more "manufactured." There are three thin etched lines ringing the upper and lower part of the body. It has a simple little squared handle.
