SHIBORI FESTIVAL FLOWERS - A traditional vintage kimono designed for a young woman in her teenage years. This exquisitely hand-stitched white silk has a beautifully textured shibori surface, designed with auspicious motifs for a festive occasion.

Brightly colored flowers, some picked out in gold pigment, are interlaced with wisteria fronds. This kimono would have been worn in the Spring to Summer season.

Elegant, high quality silk, lined in fine silk, and in excellent vintage condition.

There is nothing like the feel of Japanese silk against your skin, and this drapes a dream. Wearing luxurious, pure silk inspires blissful relaxation in me-time moments. Add Geisha chic to your look this season.

This kimono, dating from the 1970s, would suit a finely framed person, but it would also look charming displayed in your personal space. Please convo for measurements, if you would like to wear this kimono.

Thank you for looking.
