The largest of the set of heavy vintage ironstone platters is just under 11" long x 7" across; the second is 10" x 6 3/4"; the smallest is 6 1/2" x 5 3/4". These platters have been well-used, showing small, smooth pits and dings, one small crack on the mid-sized one as seen in the pictures, and on the underside of the largest platter is an old, fairly smooth chip. The surface of each platter is worn. I have washed, but not tried to remove discoloration or bufff or polish these beautiful platters as much of the charm is in the signs of over 125 years of use!

These are gorgeous as simple decor in any room, heavy duty for continued use. They have Greenwood China, Trenton (can't read the town, but would it be NJ? Or NY?) impressed into the back of each one, one with a date of 1878, and the words US Pat. Off. -- very hard to make out -- I had to use a magnifying light.

Vintage white ironstone platters set of three from the 1800's shabby chic Greenwood Trenton
