Sainte Anne DeBeaupre Holy Water Dispenser, circa 1950-1960's. Historically, very little is known about Sainte Anne. What is known is that she was the mother of the Virgin Mary. Holy water dispensers were very popular in the Catholic Faith throughout the 1960's and it was very common to bless yourself as you entered a different room in the house. There is a place to hang this figurine and holy water container on your wall and this is truly a very beautiful and highly treasured item. There is a sticker on the back that says ART and was made in Japan. Sainte Anne does have a small chip on her left index finger which could be touched up with a very small amount of paint. This small chip does not deter one from her beauty and is barely noticeable unless known. Otherwise she is in very good condition for her age. St. Anne is 6" in length.
