A vintage 1950s tartan plaid kilt of gray and red worsted wool, woven in Scotland for Aljean Canada. Fabric covered buttons on the fringed edge, and knife pleats.

*Label: Aljean Canada; skirt also has a label that reads: Pure Botany Worsted Merstow Woven in Scotland Exclusively for Aljean Canada
*Three front buttons; two inner metal snap closures; banded waist; knife pleated skirt
*Skirt shows a few tiny worn areas--not holes all the way through, just tiny snags to the fabric
*Very good condition, with no holes, stains or tears

No size tag. Measurements:
*34" (86.25 cm) waist
*44" (111.5 cm) hips
*28" (71 cm) waist to bottom hem
*Skirt has 1 1/8" (2.75 cm) hemmed
