Starbuck is a character in the novel Moby Dick. One chapter of the book tells of his adventurous encounter with a mermaid. I've paired the mermaid charm with a coffee bean because of the connection of Starbucks coffee to this character.

This is a set of steampunk-style markers with a piratey feel to them. Vintage look, but not vintage. These are relatively lightweight and range from 1.5 to 2 inches long.

You get:

Genuine shell charm

Fish charm

Carved bone skull with treasure chest

Mermaid charm with coffee bean

What is Steampunk? An intriguing juxtaposition of Victorian motifs (the age of steam engines), and machine elements, with a contemporary emphasis on recycling/reimagining. I know that sounds vague. Think: brass, glass, gears, botany, antiquities and beyond. Search out "steampunk" here at Etsy, and you will find all sorts of fascinating examples.

I use split rings to keep the markers sturdy and to avoid snagging. The rings will fit up to 5.5mm needles, unless you specify a different size.

I now have five sizes of split rings for stitch markers:
(see photo)
Small fits up to 3.75mm needles
Medium fits up to 5.5mm needles
Large fits up to 7mm needles
XLG fits up to 10mm needles
Jumbo fits up to 15mm needles

**Leave a note in the message to seller field if you want a different size than the one listed. One size per set of stitch markers please.

Order will ship within three business days of receipt of payment. Please see my profile box for more details on my policies.
