I had one exactly like this when I was a little girl so this dates to either the late 1960s or early 1970s a groovy Betsy Clarke type earthy patches pattern on the outside and fake red velvet on the inside this jewelry box has a mirror on the inside of the lid with a red cloth pocket and a compartment of red boxes plus a removable box that has on one side slats for rings and then compartments for bracelets or whatnot. It is a very versatile design where slats can be lifted out and the inside is in really good condition.

Of course it can be used for all sorts of storage needs.

The outside patchwork is some sort of paper and, unlike the inside which appears to never have been used, has some wear, although there are no specific major areas that are actually damaged, just age and to the metal of the latches as well though certainly not to detract from the awesome period Girlie design.

Measures 9 3/4" x 3" x5 3/4".
