Garden or indoors. My "Greedy Dog" plaque illustrates the popular Aesop's fable. The greedy dog wasn't satisfied with the big bone he already had. He tried to grab another from what he thought was another dog but was actually his own reflection in the water. As he opened his mouth, he dropped his own bone into the water and ended up with nothing. He learned it is better to 'Be grateful rather than greedy.'
I make a mold of my original woodcarving and cast the final plaque in cold-cast copper. I hand sand each plaque several times to bring out the lustrous copper highlights and add a natural copper patina so the final plaque looks aged. Can be hung from the two eyehooks on top.
Aprox. 7 1/2 " x 6" and weighs over 1 1/2 pounds
A story booklet with the complete fable is included for free!
