Bride and Groom forks for your wedding made by upcycling silverware. This pattern is reminiscent of some early patterns. First produced in 1989 actual age of forks is not known since these were found in their cellophane bags.

Fabulous convex handles crowned with a fleur de lis tip. Elegant, simple and timeless.

* *See important information about condition below.

These forks stamp a bit lighter then most vintage forks which is likely due to their gloss finish.
Lettering is hammered by hand. Alignment and impression of each letter varies which is part of the charm.

Streamlined design is nice and smooth to hold in your hand.

Length 7.25" luncheon size. A standard dinner fork ranges from 7 and 3/8th"s to 7.75 so these are not that much smaller in length.

Forks are silver plated.

* Packaging: This set comes with a simple utility look gray felt silver storage pouch will will help minimize tarnish formation that is slipped into a white organza pouch making this a ready to give gift.

Ships in 10 business days. Sooner when possible.

These forks were found in their original cellophane bags. many of the bags were tattered and torn and made some scratches and in *some cases there is a ding that you can see* in some of the photos. Chafe marks made by the cellophane is a result of the weight of the bagged forks stored on top of each other.

You will receive for one Bride fork and one Groom fork placement of the lettering will be similar but not exact.

About hand stamping:

Hand stamping is the process of using small letter dyes and hitting each one with a hammer.

You never know how the piece will take to being hammered. Forks have cracked, spoons have split and sometimes, it has happened immediately to hours later.

Lining up of the letters is not exacting like manual or machine engraving systems that also have vices to hold items in place.

Due to the dyes themselves and because silver plate varies the depth of the lettering is not all the same. These and other variables is what makes each piece unique.
