From the legendary San Francisco-based department store I. Magnin, this emerald green velvet coat features a sash belt, gentle knife pleating around the back, and pretty gold-detailed plastic buttons.

Bust: 18" (armpit to armpit)
Waist: 17" (cinches smaller with sash)
Length: 44" (from top of collar to bottom hem)

All measurements are taken flat, so please double these figures (except for the length) to find out how it will fit on you. (For perspective, the model has a 34" bust, 27" waist, 34" hip, and is 5'5")

This coat is from the early 1970's.

The coat is in very strong condition, and was probably worn minimally in its lifetime (if at all)! However, it does have a few issues that stem from improper storage over the years. The shoulders and back of the collar have discoloration from the hanger it was kept on for years(as seen in the 4th photo). The back also has some light, superficial staining that does not seem to permeate the fabric very much (3rd photo). I think it should come out with a good dry-cleaning. The lining also seems to have been reinforced with white thread (5th photo). Overall, this is a very cool coat and I hope it finds a good home.
