Vintage Asahai Pentax SV 35mm Film Camera with removable Pentax light meter

This fabulous looking pentax sv 35 mm camera was made by
Asahi Kogaku in 1962. It features a clip on Pentax light meter and
a Super Takumar 1 1.8/5.5 50mm lens that is beautifully clean and clear.
The shutter and film advance seem to be working perfectly, as does the
very cool looking light meter. The body of the camera is in excellent
condition. There are minor surface abrasions on the underside and even
less significant ones elsewhere on the metal areas of the body.
The leatherette is perfect. There is a significant scrape on the top
of the prism at the back edge.
I've attached a protective pentax UV glass filter to the front of the lens.
This is threaded for removal.

To remove the light meter, press on the two silvery metal tabs on either side
of the back of the meter (around the viewfinder) and slide it up and off. It's that easy!
My only complaint with this camera is that the viewfinder is dull and I find
focusing more difficult than it needs to be because of this. On bright sunny days,
this is much less of an annoyance, but here in the Pacific NW winter, sun
is hard to come by.

As with all of the cameras that I sell as “users”, you can return the camera within
14 days of receipt. Shoot a roll of film and see if you like it.

Your camera will be carefully packed and shipped priority mail with delivery
confirmation and insurance in the US and priority mail international.
