The city in a nutshell... sort of. On one half of this locket is a detailed water tower inspired by the enormous one in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, and in the background are the soft references of city buildings. There's a reference to the Empire State Building on the other half of locket face as well. Everything is painted with a tiny brush in black and dark brown over a cream oil enamel backdrop so it has a very sepia-tone feel.

Each locket is painted individually and layered over time. They are quite a bit smaller in real life than the images make them seem.

The image is hand-painted and clasped within a brass & copper antique locket. The locket is spherical, with faces the size of dimes, and looks swell worn open or closed. Because the paint is oil, it is water-resistant to boot!

Chain is raw brass, runs approximately 20" and will darken to a vintage patina over time. Closed with a lobster clasp.

Each locket comes in a decorative tin, bedded in tissue paper and packaged up nicely. Shipping is first class mail with delivery confirmation for domestic, and first class with a customs form for international.
