This is a unique journal that is sturdy and well-made. The covers are made from 2, 5x7in. canvas panels. Each panel was painted, stamped on, and collaged with vintage text. A floral image from a vintage garden book was transfered to the cover used gel medium and the entire cover was coated with water-resistant satin gel medium.

The pages of the journal are what really makes it unique. Each one is different. No blank white pages staring back at you! There are pages made from cardstock, lined paper, patterned paper, vellum, handmade paper, vintage paper, tags, and envelopes. Vintage images of butterflies, birds, and flowers are stamped on some pages as well as some inspiring quotes. Like to keep memorabilia? This journal has several pockets for just that.

There are approx. 80 double sided pages sewn together with brown linen thread using a coptic stitch. The coptic stitch is ideal for journaling because it allows the book to lie flat while open.

Black elastic cording holds your journal shut (and will hold your favorite pen) when you're not writing in it.

Thanks for looking!
