This is a really nice pair of late antique 1800's sturdy field glasses, Jockey glasses or binoculars.

They are made of leather and nickel-plated brass, with some slight signs of wear as shown in our high resolution photos. Nothing that detracts from their fuction or good looks.

The leather is in wonderful condition, but is a shade or two darker than they appear in the photos, due to light reflection off the shiny leather surface.

The optics are in terrific condition, and they work smoothly and flawlessly.

They measure approximately 4 1/2 inches in length by 1 7/8 inches in width by 3 3/4 inches in height, and weight is a heavy 14.7 ounces.

This is a heavy pair of glasses that are very well made.

Please check our great selection of antique and vintage opera glasses and binoculars.
