Rich, reddish orange polymer clay flower with protruding stamens, is delicately sculpted to resemble an actual Ipomoea hederifolia from my garden. The center of the flower is golden yellow, contrasting with the rest of the petals. The reverse side of the flower is paler, with some interesting sculptural details, true to the actual flower. This vine is a smaller flowered relative of the common Morning Glory, and hummingbirds are drawn to its sweet nectar.

I am selling seeds for this flower, too, a nice companion purchase at http://www.etsy.com/listing/84025654/hummingbird-seeds-scarlet-morning-glory

As with all of my hummingbird feeders, there is an opening in the center of the flower and hummingbirds sip sugar water "nectar" through the opening, just as they would from a natural flower. A custom made green stopper at the base of the flower fits perfectly into a clear glass, 50 ml, recycled mini liquor bottle. The bottle is a flask, bowed on the top, and curved inward on the bottom, with raised lettering towards the shoulder, on the bottom, that reads "1/10 PINT." A soft brass wire hanger is twisted around the bottle and slides along its length, which allows for secure hanging at different angles.

Entire length of this feeder is approximately 5". The flower itself is about 1 5/8" in diameter.

I have spent a lot of time field testing and perfecting my feeders before I decided to sell them. I'm quite proud of them. They look so natural that my hummingbirds have eagerly accepted them as though they were real flowers.

All of my feeders come with the necessary instructions for mixing nectar, filling, hanging, and cleaning. If you have any questions about them, before or after purchase, please feel free to contact me.
