Here is one pretty vintage quilted yellow pottery planter for your consideration.

I just love the yellow color and the quilted or diamond pattern featured.

This planter's look lends itself to possibly being made by Brush McCoy, but after much research, I am not certain of who made it.

This is a nice larger sized vintage planter, it measures about 5 1/2 inches tall.
The base where it rests on the table is about 3 1/2 inches across and the mouth of the
planter is about 6 inches across. All measurements are approximate.

In the last picture I am showing a smaller McCoy bamboo yellow planter alongside the quilted planter just to give you an idea of height and scale of this one listed
The smaller planter shown is not included as part of this listing, it is just shown for scale.

On the base, there is an embossing which is a bit hard to read, but it appears to be the numbers 321
USA 6.

There is an attached saucer and a drain hole for easy maintenance

Even if you don't have a green thumb, a vintage flower pot makes for a wonderful display piece and a nice pop of color.

No Box
No bad smells or odors.

This planter was used by it's previous owner so there is some dirt, staining and residue in the planter and saucer that may well be permanent.

I rinsed the planter out, but will leave any further cleaning up to the new owner.

I see some crazing from age. There are some scratches, scuffs, weathering and signs of usage which might be considered consistent with a planter of this age but is noted for accuracy.

There is a 1/4 inch chip on the base.
Some brown flecks appear within the pottery. There are some bubble bursts and bubble pops. A few pencil point size nicks or dings when examined very closely.

There are some skips in the glaze, bumps in the clay and other typical inclusions that are quite common in this kind of pottery. There is some uneven areas where the pottery indents, but this was part of the manufacturing process.

There is some color loss on the planter from usage, age, storage and display.

The base, where it rests on the table, shows some wear and discoloration.

Please see all my pictures and pardon the glare from camera flash. The packet of seeds in the photographs is just a prop and is not part of the listing. The smaller planter is not part of this listing and just shown for scale. You will only be receiving one larger planter if you purchase this listing.

Note different computer monitors show colors differently. I used different camera settings to capture detail and this may have altered the true color of the item.
