This black silk taffeta skirt is gored with 11 ½” sewn from the waist; when the stitching ends, the fabric flairs as seen in photo 2. There is no trim or lining noted. Waistband is a grosgrain ribbon bound to the top and secured in the back with hook and eye. The seams are machine sewn with selvage edges or not finished at all. The selvage edges are woven with “HUNTER STORE’S SPECIAL #1.2” in red thread as seen in the photo. One inch brush braid at the bottom edge. There is a section of 22” that is missing the brush braid and the fabric is left open and shredded at the bottom edge from wear. There is some white stuff on the back of the skirt which I do not know what it is as seen on photo 3. Waist 28”, Length 38”. The skirt is in good condition except for what is mentioned.
