Darling little vintage enamel and gold-tone metal locket brooch. Features a sweet leafy pink rose on the locket face with a pretty guilloche and aqua blue enamel backdrop. It is framed in a round metal setting with a twisted ornamental metal border. The backside of the locket has a neat little secret locket in back, which has a removable glass cover (see last photo) for storing an image or tiny treasure. The locket is attached to a sweet green enameled bow pin at the top with a safety catch on back. The metal is not marked, but looks like it could be gold filled. The piece measures 5.7cm in entire length and the diameter of the locket portion alone is 25mm. Overall this brooch is in wonderful condition for its age with the glass and enamel intact and gorgeous. Just a bit of slight wear to the metal mostly on the inside of the locket case. Also a few faint surface scratches on the front near the bottom of the rose--very subtle and only noticeable under very close inspection. One last note that you must use your fingernail to gently remove the lid on back--there is no dedicated notch or knob, never was. The lid closes tightly and securely. This is a one of a kind piece here at Treasure Booth :)
