"Heaven forbid!--that would be the greatest misfortune of all!--to find a man agreeable whom one is determined to hate!--Do not wish me such an evil!." -Jane Austen, Pride & Prejudice

Lizzy always says it best, doesn't she?

This mug is a thick, glorious taupe-colored tribute to the complicated relationships between men and women, especially as exemplified in the beloved story of Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy. I have painted a swirling rose vine along the top and bottom corners of the handle, and the mug itself is a wonderful sturdy thing, with a vaguely squared rim and black glazed interior.

Perfect for the Austen addict, or for any girl who understands Elizabeth's dilemma only too well.

Dishwasher and microwave safe, but do not scrub.
