Hand Made Full Moon Dream Catcher by Lela Cargill, B.A.
Descendant of Laughing Fairy of the Choctaw Tribe.
Practicing Spiritualist - My Choctaw guide is Shikoba Humma (Red Feather)

This dream catcher was finished January 9, 2012 and was hung outside with the full moon. I dance and send power to the dream catcher so that whoever becomes its owner will have pleasant dreams for many moons to come!

Native Americans believe that the night is filled with dreams. The dream catcher catches the dreams as they flow by. The good dreams know how to pass through the web of the dream catcher and enter the sleep of the owner. The bad dreams get tangled in the web and are destroyed by daylight.

My dream catchers are infused with all the power that I can give them. One owner told me that he had not been able to sleep well for 6 years. My spirit guide came to me in a dream and told me to make a dream catcher specifically for him. After hanging his dream catcher, he came to see me the next day and gave me a huge hug and kiss and told me that he had never been able to sleep so well and that I literally saved his life because he was very depressed over his disturbing dreams.

I have learned to make my dream catchers during the waxing moon, never when it is waning. I complete them on the day or night of the full moon and then hang them where the moonlight will empower them. I also now incorporate stars in the design which represent the Seven Sisters of the Pleiades Constellation and the power of the Universe. (There are actually nine stars in the Pleiades - two of the stars are said to be the father and mother of the seven sisters).

I learned a small Choctaw dance to send dream power to my new dreamcatchers and I call on my spirit guide to help me with the designs.

If this dream catcher speaks to you, please be assured that you will be buying a quality, unique, one of a kind hand made dream catcher that will provide a conduit for your good dreams. It also doubles as a delightful door decoration (like a wreath).

Have a pleasant night!
