Each wintery morning while drinking a steaming cup of coffee I watch the Chickadees and Redpolls hanging onto our birdfeeder feasting off black oil sunflower seeds. They visit us during the snowy Alaskan winters staying fat and warm against the wind and below zero temperatures. So, of course, I just had to paint this beautiful little "dinosaur" in time for the holidays! But, this and all my handpainted ornaments can be used year round. If you don't have a tree, hang them from the curtain rod in the window and watch when the sun catches them--they sparkle and glitter as if the Chickadee is singing "Chickadee-dee-dee, Chickadee-dee-dee...."
